Description
The Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) team is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer to help them on a new long-term project. This is a remote opportunity; however, candidates must be geographically located within a 2-hour drive of the Dayton, OH or Montgomery, AL area to be considered.
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Provides technical and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for the program.
Research, identify and close stagnant PQDRs.
Captures, understands, translates, and documents customer requirements.
Defines system and program requirements; and generates software performance and reliability specifications and requirements.
Creates and maintains programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution.
Manages and documents system configurations and oversees all transitions into production.
Performs troubleshooting and remediation, ensures successful program changes/migrations, and provides post project end user support.
Requirements
Minimum Candidate Requirements
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
Candidates must be geographically located within a 2-hour drive of the Dayton, OH (preferred) or Montgomery, AL area to be considered.
Candidate must have at least 5 years' experience in the following:
Information system oversight
Troubleshooting on-premises system-level issues in Windows and Linux
Desired knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Bachelor's degree.
Experience working in Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) for the USAF.

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Salary Description
$85,00.000 - $105,000.00
