Granite Mountain Quarries based in Little Rock, AR is currently recruiting for a Quarry Water Truck Operator located at Plant 3 located in Bauxite, AR. Only on-line applicants will be considered / evaluated.

The responsibilities for this position include driving a water truck in an above ground mining environment. This person is required to do other construction-related physical tasks during the workday. Typical work conditions are in an outside environment with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees in the Summer and below freezing in the Winter. Responsibilities

- Operate water truck to control dust in the quarry and on adjacent county roads
- Safely navigate through active work zones with other heavy equipment
- Comply with all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with other crew members and supervisors
- Assist with other production tasks, including plant maintenance, when not operating the water truck

Basic Qualifications

- Must have a class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
- Must have Tank Endorsements within 1 week of employment with GMQ.
- Must be able to drive a standard/manual transmission truck.
- Must have the ability and be willing to work a 12-hour day/shift, including some nights and weekends.
- Must be able and willing to walk, stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor including lifting items at least as heavy as 50 pounds.
- Must have the ability and be willing to work outside in extreme weather conditions that may exceed 100 degrees in the Summer.
