Description
Reports to:
Senior Project Manager or Project Executive (in absence of SPM)
Supervises:
Assistant Project Manager and Jobsite Office Assistant
Educational Requirements:
- Degree/Experience:
- 4-year degree in a relevant curriculum from an accredited college or university + minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Concrete construction experience strongly preferred
- OR 4-year degree in a non-relevant curriculum from an accredited college or university + minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Trade Certification/Accreditation:

OSHA 10 Hour
Technical Requirements:
- Software:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (or similar scheduling software/application)
- Proficiency in Timberline PJ (or similar project management software/application)
- Proficiency in Viewpoint (or similar AP software/application)
- Working knowledge of Navisworks, Revit, and SketchUp
- General:
- Mastery of quantity take-off & subcontractor solicitation to support estimating
- In-depth understanding of building components and trade sequencing
- Working knowledge of construction surveying/layout
- Working knowledge of contract language

Basic understanding of risk management
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Supervise all direct responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager; in the absence of an APM, these responsibilities shall be handled directly
- Supervise submittal and RFI processes
- Oversee coordination of material deliveries
- Manage jobsite documentation, including progress photos
- Oversee job close-out requirements
- Support jobsite safety enforcement
- Develop and manage project schedules
- Track and report project progress
- Monitor and control project costs
- Enforce risk management parameters established by the Project Executive

Manage change orders and support dispute resolution
Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with the design team and Owner counterpart
- Build and maintain relationships with project subcontractors and vendors
- Ensure positive community exposure
- Participate in at least one industry or community service organization
- Take a leadership role in a community service project
