Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage all night shift fabrication shop operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met
- Coordinate daily production schedules and prioritize workflow to meet project deadlines and customer expectations
- Operate, oversee, and provide support with brake presses, plasma tables, CNC machinery, and other fabrication equipment as needed
- Lead, train, mentor, and support fabrication shop personnel while fostering accountability and teamwork across the shift
- Monitor production output and inspect finished products to ensure compliance with company quality control standards and specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve production, equipment, and workflow issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment while ensuring compliance with all company safety policies and procedures
- Track material usage, labor productivity, and operational performance to maximize efficiency and reduce waste
- Communicate effectively with management and day shift personnel to ensure smooth transition between shifts and continuity of operations
- Assist with process improvements and implementation of best practices to enhance overall shop performance
Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing shop environment required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience operating brake presses, CNC equipment, plasma tables, and other fabrication machinery
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, shop workflow, and production scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment
