Robins & Morton is looking for an Electrified Hardware Coordinator to assist in the development and integration of an electrified hardware coordination effort within our systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful design, validation, and implementation of electrified hardware components, including electrified door locking hardware, auto operator doors, and access control integration. You will act as a key coordinator, ensuring technical alignment, project efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

- Review owner requirements, contract drawings, and specifications to identify all doors, frame, hardware, and electrified opening requirements for each project.
- Compare architectural, electrical, low-voltage, and access control documents to confirm that electrified hardware intent is clearly shown and consistent across disciplines.
- Review Division 8, 26, and 28 submittals and RFIs related to doors and electrified hardware, flag discrepancies, and summarize issues for the Electrified Hardware Coordination Manager.
- Build and maintain project specific door and electrified openings matrices (in Excel or similar) that capture hardware, power, control devices, raceways, and trade responsibilities by opening.
- Record clear notes and clarifications on the matrix and in project files so that project managers, assistant PMs, and superintendents can easily understand requirements at each opening.
- Update matrices and documentation as design changes, RFIs, and submittal revisions are issued, ensuring that the latest information is available to the field team.
- Assist in preparing markup sets, summary logs, and talking points for coordination meetings led by the Electrified Hardware Coordination Manager or project leadership.
- Attend internal and external meetings (as requested) to take notes related to doors and electrified openings and then update matrices and documentation accordingly.
- Help organize and manage electronic project files related to doors, frames, hardware, and access control, including submittals, RFIs, and correspondence.
- Provide back-office support for punch-list and close-out by helping confirm that final conditions are reflected in the electrified openings matrix and project records.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: (Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

- Some experience or strong interest in commercial doors, frames, hardware, or low voltage/access control; training will be provided by the Electrified Hardware Coordination Manager.
- Ability to read and interpret basic architectural and electrical drawings; willingness to grow into more advanced plan review.
- High attention to detail and comfort with focused office work, including careful document review and accurate data entry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrified hardware construction principles/practices.
- Experience working for or with subcontractors and/or self-perform work.
- Access Control System expertise to aid in coordination of access control systems and electrified hardware control on R&M projects.
