Description
Shee Atik is seeking dynamic individuals to engage with guests during their Salmon Tales lunch tour. This is a seasonal position that runs through September 2025.
The ideal candidate will offer their own compelling narratives about history, culture, fishing, growing up in Sitka, or any stories that relate to life in Sitka.
Storytellers will present to large groups and then actively engage with guests during salmon feed lunches.
We especially welcome traditional Tling t stories, if the storyteller has or obtains permission to tell them.
Requirements
Minimum Candidate Requirements
Candidate must have authorization to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
Strong communication, storytelling, and customer service skills
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Enthusiasm for providing an exceptional outdoor dining experience for visitors to Sitka, Alaska
