Primary Function
We are seeking a detail-oriented self-starter individual to join our team as a Program Support Specialist in the COMSEC area. Program Support Specialists play a vital role in managing the secure and accountable movement, storage, and disposal of COMSEC material. This position involves managing equipment, coordination with internal and external customers, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and supporting various aspects of program support.
The Program Support Specialist provides physical and administrative support to technical staff, and programs, performing a variety of both complex and routine regulatory and analytical duties.
Essential Duties
Provide cradle to grave accountability support of COMSEC material
Accurately maintain 100% inventory traceability and accountability both physically and within system of record
Responsible for facilitating the transfer of material and equipment with appropriate entities
Ensures all policies and procedures are followed IAW COMSEC regulations
Perform all logistics functions within designated secure area
Monitor and report on program status
Interface with all stakeholders to prioritize impending requirements
Maintain all required documentation IAW policies and procedures ensuring compliance
Accurately prepare various program documents and correspondence
Research, plan, analyze, and organize technical and/or statistical information; assemble data for use in briefings, reports, and formal presentations
Collect and compile data for use in regular and ad hoc reporting on the status of programs
Monitor and execute program plans, provide status reports, and gather “lessons learned" information
Follow standard operating procedures and provide feedback on necessary updates and assist with implementation of updates as necessary
Knowledge of logistics principles, supply chain processes, and inventory management techniques
Understanding of warehouse operations, transportation logistics, and distribution channels
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Provide a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and precision in all logistics requirements
Must complete and maintain all required training

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Familiar with COMSEC policies, procedures, and regulations (i.e. NSA, DOD)
Ability to respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies
Ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize technical and statistical information
Capacity to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose practical solutions
Aptitude for troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing corrective actions
Ability to identify errors and discrepancies in data and take appropriate corrective measures
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
Ability to coordinate and execute various projects simultaneously
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, related field, or combined experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, inventory analysis, or related roles
Proficiency in inventory management software and systems
Must be able to obtain a top-secret security clearance
Proven experience in logistics operations, program management, or a similar role
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy to ensure compliance
Knowledge of government
regulations and standards is preferred
Strong customer service skills
