Project Scheduler

As a Project Scheduler you will play critical role in project oversight, execution, tracking, and reporting on project progress.

What You Will Do:

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project cost and schedule baselines, coordinating/leading regular project status updates for project reporting, along with mentoring/coaching project personnel on cost and schedule control. By effectively managing these areas, you will ensure projects stay on track, within budget, and meet their objectives.

We'd love to hear from People With:

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 5-8 Years of Direct Experience
- Proficiency with Primavera scheduling software
- Working knowledge in Cobra or similar cost processor
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
- Working knowledge of cost engineering/cost control
- Proficient in Microsoft products, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within high pressure work site environment.

A Successful Candidate Brings:

- Strong Analytical Skills: To analyze project data and identify potential issues or opportunities
- Problem-Solving Skills: To develop creative solutions to challenges that arise during a project execution.
- Communication Skills: To effectively communicate with project team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial tools.
- Leadership Skills: To motivate and guide the project team and directly supporting the project controls manager.
- Q security clearance is a plus.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance. Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made. In addition, once employe, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a DOE security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
