Centrus Energy is seeking an experienced Director, Business Development and Services, to spearhead the expansion of our HALEU, LEU, and non-enrichment product and service offerings. This opportunity has a matrixed responsibility, which include procurement, packaging, transportation, and materials management; finance and information technology in support of Centrus and it wholly owned subsidiary, American Centrifuge Operations (ACO).

What You'll Do:

- Lead business development initiatives, identifying and securing new growth opportunities in HALEU, LEU, non-enrichment as well as ACO related markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, industry leaders, and strategic partners.
- Represent Centrus Energy at industry conferences, in high-level negotiations, and in corporate strategy discussions.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to position new products for success.
- Drive financial planning and modeling efforts to support business expansion.
- Oversee the development of large-scale proposals and contract negotiations.
- Lead supply chain development activities, including cost-benefit analyses for high-value materials.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, corporate policies, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business execution and operational efficiency.
- Manage budgets and set clear performance expectations for assigned personnel.

What You Bring:

- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of four years of experience in the nuclear industry or a relevant technical sector.
- Strong background in business development, financial planning, and strategic partnerships.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to drive business growth and execute strategic initiatives.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling, market analysis, and proposal development.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy “Q" clearance.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance. Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made. In addition, once employe, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a DOE security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
