STUDENT SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM GOAL

McGeorge Contracting Company will recruit and employ Student Summer Interns for the purpose of orientation to McGeorge Contracting Company operations, peak season operational support, and in the anticipation of potential transition to full time employment as positions become available.

STUDENT SUMMER INTERNSHIP TIMELINE

McGeorge Contracting intends to recruit for internships and will make offers as candidates are identified. Summer 2025 report will be negotiated individually based on availability of the intern.

TARGET STUDENT SUMMER INTERN FIELD OF STUDY

Students with an interest in Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mining, Geology or a related field or administrative / support field to these areas will be the primary target group for consideration for summer internship positions. High school students meeting the working age requirement will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.

STUDENT SUMMER INTERNSHIP COMPENSATION

The Compensation for the Student Summer Intern position will be as follows:

- Hourly Compensation - An hourly wage of $16.00 will be paid. Overtime will be paid over 40 hours in any week or otherwise as stipulated by law or statute in the location of report.
- Expenses - Per diem of $30.00 per day for daily expenses.

STUDENT SUMMER INTERNSHIP MENTOR

Each Student Summer Intern will be assigned a mentor who will represent the Company contact for orientation to the program, facilitation of report, as well as a sounding board for any issues or opportunities for the program and the individual intern experience.
