Position Overview:
Harden Architectural Security Products is seeking an experienced and dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the welding, CNC machining, and assembly processes, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

- Welding:
- Develop and implement welding processes and techniques
- Maintain all tooling, clamping, hardware, and software for optimal processes
- Troubleshoot welding issues and implement corrective actions
- Develop continuous Improvement of processes through hardware, software, or general process improvements
- CNC Machining:
- Optimize machining processes for efficiency and quality
- Review programs, tooling, and other set-up items to produce parts that meet dimensional characteristics and needed production goals
- Assembly:
- Oversee the assembly process to accurate and efficient production
- Develop and implement assembly procedures and work instructions
- Monitor assembly line performance and identify areas for improvement
- Quality Control, Inspection, and Safety:
- Work with Team members to inspect sub-components thru assembled products for any defects or non-compliance to prints. Document as required by the Quality System
- Process Improvement:
- Provide input, collaborate with Harden Team members, and implement process improvements to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

To excel in this role, a candidate should have the following qualifications:

- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of welding processes, CNC machining, and assembly techniques
- Proficiency with CAD software
- Proficiency with CNC Programming
- Experience with quality control methods and quality management systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Lean manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software
- Understanding tolerancing, inspection procedures, and the proper use of calibrated tooling
- Safety Awareness:
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations
- Ability to stand / walk / work on a concrete floor for 10 hours if needed
- Ownership of Safety

Physical Environment:

- Functions in a live production environment much of the time. Work requires proper office etiquette, walking the production floor and other areas of the manufacturing facility, good physical fitness, and an understanding of appropriate lifting techniques. May need to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Excellent vision skills (with or without correction) are required. The environment has moderate noise levels and fluctuating temperatures associated with equipment and production machines.
