Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Finishing Work:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Proper use of fillers to achieve the desired cosmetic surface
- Mix and apply primers, powder paints, and liquid paints (Coraflon) using pressure pots and other equipment
- Ensure proper application of coatings to achieve desired thickness and finish at the wet film and dry film stages
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects and ensure coatings meet quality standards. Make necessary touch-ups and repairs
- Maintain all inventory processes, labor, material, and product tracking
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace
- Other duties as assigned
- Quality Control, Inspection, and Safety:
- Inspect sub-components and assembled products for any defects or non-compliance to prints. Document as required per the Quality system
- Visually inspect all products for defects per specifications
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed while in the facility
- Report all Safety concerns to Supervision immediately
- Process Improvement:
- Provide input, collaborate with Harden Team members, and implement process improvements to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost

Job Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with powder and liquid painting
- Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of proper painting procedures, use of pressure pots, spray guns, ovens, and other machinery and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret the supplier's paint product specifications on mix ratios and adapt to the part and work conditions
- Knowledge of strapping and rigging for use of overhead cranes
- Ability to understand dimensions in both Metric and Imperial
- Ability to understand and convert dimensions between decimals and fractions
- Safety Awareness:
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations
- Ability to stand / walk / work on a concrete floor for 10 hours per day
- Good physical stamina (lifting heavy equipment) and ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate machinery in a safe and controlled manner
- Ownership of Safety

Physical Environment:

- Functions in a live production environment much of the time. Work requires the ability to walk the production floor and other areas of the manufacturing facility; position requires good physical fitness and an understanding of appropriate lifting techniques and tool safety. May need to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Excellent vision skills (with or without correction) are required. The environment has moderate noise levels and fluctuating temperatures associated with equipment, production machines, and equipment.
