Description

Lakota Federal LLC is seeking a Business Development Director to join our team on a long-term, fulfilling career opportunity.

The Business Development Director will be responsible for supporting activities throughout the full life cycle of Business Development. This includes building collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders, creating opportunities, identifying opportunities, maturing opportunities through the capture process through the proposal processes, and over-site of the program management after award. The Business Development Director will report directly to the President of the company.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

Demonstrated experience in environmental services (e.g. natural resources & sustainability, energy modeling, sustainability consulting, master planning, surveying and mapping.
Demonstrated successes winning new and growing existing business
Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership within the workplace
Ability to work independently with little supervision to produce exceptional work.

Requirements

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen

Candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of experience with federal contracting

Candidate must have experience with all of the following:

Federal contracting program cycle: RFI, RFP, proposal, negotiation, baseline, execution, modification, and close out.
Business contacts with multiple customers (e.g. USACE, US Army, US Air Force, US Navy and other FedCiv and DoD contracting agencies)
Demonstrated win record in the FedCiv or DoD marketplace
Capture efforts over $10M+
Multiple contract types: FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ, OTA
Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) direct awards and the SBA 8(a) program
Demonstrated success working with and leading geographically distributed teams
Demonstrated success working with multiple programs simultaneously
Prior experience in program management
Prior military or government civilian experience
Familiarity with FAR and DFAR
Familiarity with TAs, NDAs, Subcontracts, and JVs
