Reinsurance Auditor Support Specialist Overview: Responsibilities will include entering customer data into the reinsurance service platform which we use to generate and file documents for Key Benefit Administrators (KBA). You are required to follow up to ensure that all proposals are signed and returned to KBA. The position will also include review of paid claims for potential funding and managing groups for suspension and any other duties as assigned.
Reinsurance Auditor Support Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter customer data into our reinsurance service platform for sold cases at implementation and renewal on the KeySolution business.
- Generate and file documents for KBA on the KeySolution product.
- Responsible for updating data into our home-grown platform Key Benefit Administrators System (KBAS) for the KeySolution product.
- Produce and send documents associated with KeySolution to our clients through an e-signing software program named PandaDoc.
- Track and follow up on documents sent to clients to ensure all have been signed and returned to KBA through the e-signing software program PandaDoc.
- Review claims submitted under the plan in which to decide if additional funding is required from the carrier upon which time, you would either deny or approve.
- Generate a weekly paid claims report and supply to all required personnel for the Key Solution business.
- Update the reinsurance service platform with all funding approvals or denials on the KeySolution block.
- Produce and email the required suspension/termination documents on clients who are no longer considered actively eligible for services.
- Conduct audits for any assigned required block of business as needed.
- Perform reconciliation audits for Renewing and Terminating groups to determine if excess funds are due to the client or if additional billing for a deficit identified during the audit.
- Document findings in a clear concise manner for correction and/or for further reconciliation processes.
- Consult policies and other resource materials to review for proper application of policy provisions.
- Other work-related duties as assigned.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School GED Required
- Knowledge of reinsurance experience in the health insurance industry (third party administrator, fully insured or self-insured preferred).
