Summer Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Beyond Gravity is looking for Manufacturing Engineering support for a temporary summer position. This role will act as Manufacturing Engineering support, working with the responsible engineer on daily tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain first-hand experience working in an AS9100 compliant Space Manufacturing Facility, working on space flight hardware, and delivering value to both the customer and Beyond Gravity.
Main Tasks:
Deliver continuous improvement activities
Update Manufacturing Work Instructions
Perform Root Cause Analysis
Draft Technical Documentation
Among other Manufacturing Engineering related tasks
Requirements/Skill Set:
Current college student enrolled in an engineering program
Project planning
Interpersonal skills
Understanding of the complexities and difficulties associated with the integration of machine tools
Good awareness of manufacturing and inspection processes and technologies
Industrial engineering skills
Six Sigma
Continuous improvement
