SDAC is seeking Floor Technician for a in a large government facility in Corpus Christi, TX. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, healthy, and professional environment for our valued tenants.


Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation for all floor areas throughout the Facility.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
- Deep clean floors using techniques such as stripping, buffing, and waxing (training provided).
- Properly handle and dispose of cleaning chemicals and waste materials according to safety protocols.
- Replenish restroom supplies and ensure restrooms are clean and sanitary.
- Report any maintenance concerns or equipment malfunctions to the Lead Custodian.
- Assist the Lead Custodian with additional cleaning tasks as needed.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with tenants and building occupants.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a custodial or cleaning role.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks, which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license may be preferred (depending on location).

The custodian is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as repetitive movement, bending, stooping and occasional light lifting to accomplish tasks. Walking particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
