Benefits Manager
Centrus Energy is seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Benefits Manager to join our Human Resources team. The Benefits Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness, and other ancillary benefits. The ideal candidate will ensure that our benefits offerings are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with our company’s goals and values.
This key leader will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization's benefits programs, including health and welfare benefits for employees and retirees, retirement plans, workers' compensation, system interfaces and updates, and policy and procedure revisions.
What You Will Do:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting and delivering compelling annual benefit programs that are competitive, equitable and aligned with corporate objectives by working with brokers carriers and vendors to research analyze and compare different benefit plans, ultimately presenting recommendations to senior management. You will be resolving coverage issues and addressing employee inquires. Success looks like helping our employees better understand and utilize their offerings, while providing personalized guidance when needed. A key part of your job will also involve collecting data and analyzing your ongoing campaigns to understand areas for improvement.
We’d Love to Hear from People With:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration- creating and negotiating plans.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with benefits administration software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay:
Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $120,000 – 130,000. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test and vetting to ensure Centrus Energy can meet the requirements of 10 CFR Parts 810 and 1017 to grant access to export-controlled information and Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information, respectively. Such access is required for performance of this position.
