Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: location, quantities, and sizes of materials require
Lay out, position, align, and fit materials according to shop drawing
Must have experience threading pipe and working with compressed air
Locate and mark centerlines and reference points onto floor or face block and transpose them to work piece, using tape, chains, plumb bob, and squares
Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or riveting
