Software Engineer

PPT Solutions, Inc is seeking a Software Engineer. The candidate shall have 10 to 15 years of experience in the principles listed below. Added plus the candidate has experience working with complex military systems, the capability to oversee vendor products, and provide constructed recommendations.



Responsibilities for the Software Engineer:

Communication: Regular communication with all stakeholders is crucial for Agile teams.
Adaptability: Agile development is flexible and can accommodate changing requirements quickly.
Problem-solving: Creative problem-solving is essential for managing complex Agile projects.
Core skills: Scrum, Kanban, and test-first development are essential skills for Agile team members.
Collaborative development: Knowledge of collaborative development practices can add value to Agile projects.
Coding standards: Adherence to coding standards, best practices, and design principles is important for Agile developers.
Tools and methods: Agile developers should be proficient in using tools and methods such as code reviews, refactoring, debugging, and static analysis.

Additionally, Agile software development is particularly suitable for projects with evolving requirements, complex problems, and a need for frequent feedback. The Agile software development process typically consists of the following phases:

Project planning and requirements gathering
Iterative development
Continuous integration and testing
Demonstration and feedback
Delivery and deployment




Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for the Software Engineer:

Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
10-15 years of experience
Candidates must be self-starters and able to pivot when needed.
U.S. citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
