Robins & Morton is looking for a Carpenter Foreman to work with us on our various projects and find satisfaction in doing a high quality job.

We are looking for a candidate who will be able to help us construct, repair and maintain permanent and temporary structures using both hand and power tools. The candidate must be able to work effectively under the leadership of a jobsite manager.

Develop thorough understanding of project plans, specifications, and schedules as related to work assigned.
Conduct tool box meetings and communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans, and schedules.
Plan and communicate with warehouse, purchasing, and supervisor to ensure an adequate supply of tools, materials, and equipment are available.
Inspect to ensure that correct construction procedures are followed, and work is in compliance with the plans and specifications. Point out deficiencies, explain, and take corrective action.
Monitor and report quantities of work accomplished on a daily/weekly basis.
Develop weekly work plans and monitor production.
Perform other job-specific duties and have basic understanding of scheduling, material control, and productivity management systems.

High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Preferred
Must be a highly qualified journeyman carpenter with at least 3 years’ experience.
Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to read and understand plans and specifications and have ability to visualize two dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
NCCER Certification preferred.
